I live in Spring Grove and have been blessed to stay at home with my two girls for the past 10 years. My youngest daughter has been attending gymnastics here at WLAC since the gym opened. I have been able to help and watch her practice through the years. I too, many years ago was a gymnast.
I have a passion for working with children. I have had several years of experience with children of all ages, from photography to working in schools. Coaching has been a great experience; I continue to grow and learn every day. The kids keep me young. I show them how it’s done, encourage them and help them gain confidence.
Hello! My name is Coach Jen! Besides being Coach at WLAC, I am a mom and a Speech-Language Pathologist.
I started dancing when I was 3 years old. I became a competitive lyrical, ballet, jazz and tap dancer at the age of 12, competing locally and nationally in group routines and as a soloist. I had the opportunity to attend the Judith Svalander School of Ballet as well as Milwaukee School of Ballet. I was a high school cheerleader for three years and taught tap and ballet classes at the Round Lake Area Park District also while in high school and when I was home for breaks from college.
I auditioned into the Bachelor of Fine Arts Dance program at the University of Minnesota and after two years decided that I wanted to become a Speech Therapist. I transferred to Eastern Illinois University where I danced on the Poms/Dance team for three years. After earning my Master’s in Science at EIU, I began my career at WTHS where I coached the Devilette Poms team. I love teaching dance and coaching cheer at WLAC!
My name is Jadyn Pye and I currently coach ninja classes and work parties at WLAC. Outside of the gym, I am in the class of 2021 at Wilmot Union High School. During school, I am a National Honors Society member and take part in Link Crew. Outside of school I love to spend time with my family and friends, travel, coach, and play sports. I often do all of these things with friends and my two brothers, sister, or dog. Gymnastics has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have been doing it since I was three years old and I am currently a level 10 gymnast. After my senior year, I also hope to continue gymnastics in college. Every year that I have competed, I have made it to State, Regionals, or J.O. Nationals. I love working here because it allows me to combine things that I love; working with kids and gymnastics. Coaching here allows me to introduce kids to such an amazing sport in hopes that they will want to continue the sport for a long as they wish.
I’m a student at Richmond Burton. I’m on the dance team and have been dancing for 11 years now, I’m also an honors student. I enjoy reading, writing, singing, and I’m always motivated to learn new things. I enjoy coaching. It helps me attain new leadership skills. Working with the children is a new learning experience, I’m always trying to help them gain courage, patience, responsibility, and respect.
Hi! I’m Coach Sophia. I’m 16 years old and a junior in high school. I have cheered since I was in elementary school. I cheered for the little cheer team in town when I was in elementary school and middle school. Once I got into high school I continued cheering my freshman and sophomore year. I started coaching just so I could get back into the gym and help others get their skills. I can be really fun and I like to go on adventures. My favorite candy is reeses, my favorite colors are gray and blue. Myfavorite tv shows are Grey's Anatomy and Vampire Diaries. I am no longer in cheer instead I am working and in my free time I’m spending time with friends or I’m tumbling with a friend. I decided to start coaching because I like working with kids and I love to tumble so I thought it was a perfect fit.
I have been a Martial Artist my entire life, and have recently discovered my love for coaching. I am studying to be a Nationally Certified Health and Wellness Coach, my big test is in October. While in school I had the opportunity to work with the Chicago Blackhawks during their fitness testing. I love anything to do with superheros, and I collect swords!
Hello everyone, Coach Norman here. I have been coaching here summer 2019. I originally started tumbling in 2008 and joined highschool gymnastics in 2009. By 2010 i was already coaching tumbling as well as starting all star cheer and high school cheer. I made it to state gymnastics on floor one year. And high school cheerleading state two years. My favorite thing to do would have to be handstands, they are such a great skill to have and easy to work on.
Hi I'm Sean, I've been a professional parkour and freerunning athlete for 14 years. I started training in 2006. Ive spent 14,000 hours in the gym training. I've competed in competiitons in Wisconsin and Colorado. I love being able to express myself through the freedom of movement. I've worked tirelessly to study and be able to perform parkour and freerunning to the best of my ability. Educating and teaching the art of movement to people is something I'm very passionate about. My goal here at WLAC is to help you be better and more controlled at your movement than you were when you first arrived.

My specialty is helping people, especially children to build confidence. Using all of my skills I have learned and using my years of coaching and teaching experience I have developed what I like to call a confidence building program. By learning new fun things that you would never think you could do in a safe controlled environment people build confidence within themselves that carries over into the rest of their lives. This is my aim.
Hi! I'm Coach Hannah. I am 17 years old and I am a junior in high school. I started doing gymnastics at the age of two, and have been in it ever since. I am very athletic and have been involved in many other sports as well. I was in cheer from 7th grade to freshman year of high school, and soccer from 3rd grade to sophomore year of high school. Throughout my high school years, I've focused mainly on gymnastics and soccer. Not only do I love being involved in sports, but I also love hanging out with my friends. We like to have fun and be silly around each other. Some other fun facts about me is that my favorite dessert is ice cream. I love going to Starbucks. My favorite candy is sour patch kids. I can be really funny and love to have a good time. And my favorite TV shows are Vampire Diaries and Riverdale.
